Evanthia Tsantila - Richard Whitlock
French Institute, ThessalonikiIn the institute's Gallery site, which is a converted theatre/cinema, each artist constructs two objects and one drawing directly on to the gallery wall. Tsantila construct two identical rectangular blocks slightly off centre to the right at the entrance of the gallery. A suspended longer rectangular block (roughly 20 cm from the ceiling and 20 cm from the floor) to the right of the former stage at the other end of the gallery. Both objects are constructed out of styrofoam, and painted a dull or dirty pink. The drawing (3x4 meters) on the back wall of the gallery is a multi-perspective outline of the gallery, a drawing of architectural quality, superimposed one on top of the other.
