roomwithaview

roomwithaview begun in the summer of 2005 with a series of electronic messages sent without a regular schedule to an undisclosed list of recipients. Each message consists of a photograph taken from the window of my studio in Berlin, paired with a short passage of text quoted from a named author and presented in English.
145 roomwithaview messages sent to a list of 296 recipients from August 2005 until today.

In 2010 the project was presented in the EMST - National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens, and an artist book with a selection of the images and texts published on the occasion.

The presentation do not mean the end of message sending. The work is still in progress on the internet.
